Babysitters Training
Learn the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care and basic first aid. This training is designed for youths ages 11 to 15 who plan to babysit.
This training does not meet State Child Care Licensing requirements.
Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
Learn team approach with scenarios, to develop and implement critical thinking and problem solving as part of the necessary skills to improve patient outcomes. This will include necessary care in cardiac and breathing emergencies for adults, children and infants.
Bloodborne Pathogens
Learn how to protect yourself and others from exposure to bloodborne pathogens on the job and what to do if an exposure occurs. It is also developed to comply with the training component of the OSHA standards.
First Aid/CPR/AED
Learn the necessary knowledge and skills necessary in emergencies situations that can increase a persons chance of survival. Be able to recognize the signs and symptoms of life threatening emergences, such as heart attacks, choking, sudden illnesses, bleeding, and what you can do until advance medical personnel arrive and take over.
